Practice Areas

Maslon is proud of its Supreme Court Practice. Our founding partner, Sam Maslon, clerked for Justice Brandeis, and since that time we have regularly advised clients on Supreme Court matters. During the current Court term Maslon lawyers argued two of the most important cases before the Court, and successfully represented other clients seeking to avoid Supreme Court review of appellate court victories. One of our partners teaches a law school seminar on the Court at William Mitchell College of Law. Last year, one of the firm's amicus briefs was cited with approval by the Court in a case involving enforcement of arbitration agreements.
