Charlie Bans is a partner in Maslon's Real Estate Group, with more than 40 years' experience in the commercial real estate field. Charlie has extensive experience in representing both sellers and purchasers of all types of commercial real estate; both lenders and borrowers in commercial financing transactions; and lessors and tenants in the negotiation and drafting of commercial leases, including anchor tenant and major office leases, as well as ground leases. Charlie has also represented both brokers and owners in real estate brokerage agreements, and both managers and owners in the negotiation and drafting of management contracts. Charlie has substantial experience in issues related to title insurance, easement agreements and Section 1031 tax-deferred exchanges.
