Jon has more than 25 years’ experience handling complex litigation matters for individual and organizational clients in a wide variety of industries and professions, including insurance, finance, manufacturing, retailing, computer forensics and digital storage, education, telecommunications, legal, and medicine.
Jon devotes a substantial portion of his practice to litigation and counseling clients regarding issues pertaining to employment, executive compensation and benefits, wage and hour law, trade-secret protection, and enforcement of non-competition and confidentiality agreements.

He has successfully argued cases before the Minnesota Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, and the Minnesota Court of Appeals and has been lead author of several briefs to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Jon also regularly handles arbitrations before the American Arbitration Association and other arbitration forums.

He is AV rated by the Martindale-Hubbell National Law Directory peer review for ethical standards and legal ability, that organization’s highest rating, and has been recognized as a “Super Lawyer,” a designation given to only 5% of Minnesota lawyers each year.
