Nadege Souvenir is a member of Maslon's Litigation and Labor & Employment Groups. She graduated magna cum laude from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. Nadege earned her bachelor's degrees in communication studies and dance from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa and her master's degree in arts administration from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota. During law school, Nadege served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Michael J. Davis of the Federal District Court for the District of Minnesota and was managing editor of the Hamline Law Review. In addition, Nadege participated in the National Moot Court Competition, winning an award for best brief in the region. Before becoming an attorney, Nadege was the Foundation and Government Grants Officer for The Children's Theatre Company.

Experience

  • Paulson et al. v. 3M, C2-04-6309 (State of Minnesota, Washington County District Court). Defeated motion seeking class certification of a 67,000 member putative class claiming chemical exposure via drinking water contamination (2007) and obtained a defense verdict on the merits after a seven-week jury trial (2009).
