Shauro Bagchi is a member of Maslon's Business & Securities Group, focusing his practice primarily in general commercial contract drafting, mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, and intellectual property and business counseling. Shauro was selected to participate in the 2012 - 2013 class of Leadership Twin Cities, a professional development program sponsored by the Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce. He also has previous experience working for the in-house corporate legal team of a Fortune 500 Minnesota company and the United States Department of Justice.
During law school Shauro was a staff member of the Georgetown Law Journal (main law review) and a primary editor for the Annual Review of Criminal Procedure published by the Georgetown Law Journal. He is a graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, DC and earned his bachelor's degree, as an Ida Mae Garrot Memorial Scholar, at the University of Maryland at College Park.
