  • Represented: (i) Ubid.com, one of the largest on-line auction sites in the United States, an Asia-based expansion of auction sites offering new, close-out, overstock and refurbished merchandise to both consumers and businesses; and (ii) Quty.com, an online auction service which provides fundraising opportunities for non-profit organizations, in its initial launch of its global on-line action network.
  • Successfully represented numerous clients to recover Internet domain names form cyber-squatters and cyber-pirates in the U.S. and internationally, using traditional trademark laws, the Anti-Cybersquatting Consumer Protection Act and ICANN domain name dispute resolutions procedures.
  • Represented biotechnology company in unmasking of Internet message board screen names in connection with postings containing company trade secrets and threats of violence directed toward the company's executives.
  • Represented ShopNBC, Inc., a multi-media retailer that sells products through its home shopping television network, in: (i) merchandising supply and warehousing agreements; and (ii) an exclusive co-branded credit card agreement.
  • Represented the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, a non-profit museum of visual arts from around the world, in a variety of copyright and e-commerce matters.
