Tax Increment Financing (TIF)

  • Represented apartment owners and office owners in TIF financing in connection with construction loans.

  • Represented a local developer in the development and sale of a major locally-based technology campus, including TIF documentation.

  • Represented an international real estate concern in negotiating the terms of a Development Agreement that provided tax increment assistance of approximately $10 million, which was needed to develop a mixed retail/class "A" office project in the central business district of a major midwestern city.
