David Herr to Present at 2013 Appellate Practice Institute
David Herr, partner in Maslon's Litigation Group, will co-present a panel discussion at the 7th Annual 2013 Appellate Practice Institute on March 8, 2013. The event, co-sponsored by Minnesota CLE and the Minnesota State Bar Association Appellate Practice Session, features expert advice and updates from judges from three appellate courts, top Minnesota lawyers, and court staff. In an afternoon breakout session titled "How to Deal with Bad Facts and Bad Circumstantial Evidence in Your Appeal," David and other panel members will discuss the best way to deal on appeal with "bad" facts and how to challenge the sufficiency of circumstantial evidence.
David Herr is a highly regarded appellate lawyer and complex case litigator. He is frequently sought out to provide practical and sophisticated advice on how to resolve difficult, multi-party disputes in trial courts and arbitral forums, as well as in the appellate courts. David is past president of the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers, past president of the Academy of Court Appointed Masters and regularly argues cases in the Minnesota appellate courts and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.
