Maslon lawyers have provided legal counsel to money managers in establishing and operating hedge funds. Our lawyers will help structure the fund's terms and conditions, prepare the underlying fund documents, such as limited partnership and subscription agreements, and assist in the drafting of the fund's offering documents. As part of this assistance, we will counsel the fund and its adviser to comply with federal and state securities laws, including the Investment Company Act and the Investment Advisers Act.

Once the hedge fund is established, Maslon securities lawyers work with the fund in connection with securities-related issues that arise, such as compliance with Schedule 13G or 13D filing requirements, Section 16 reporting, and insider-trading issues.
