Marty Rosenbaum Named Maslon's 2012 Pro Bono Attorney of the Year
Maslon is pleased to recognize Marty Rosenbaum as our 2012 Pro Bono Attorney of the Year. Marty demonstrates an exceptional commitment to pro bono service. He has served as chair of Maslon's Pro Bono Committee for the past 5 years and has been instrumental in encouraging pro bono involvement across the firm, helping to establish and implement our firm's pro bono policy which provides incentives for our associates and paralegals to participate in pro bono activities.
Marty has also served as a member of the board of LegalCORPS, a non-profit organization that provides pro bono business law advice to Minnesota low-income businesses and non-profits, for the past two years. He is chair of LegalCORPS' Operations Committee, and in that capacity he organized and helped teach a recent comprehensive training program for attorneys who volunteer at LegalCORPS' business law advice clinics. He has also led Maslon's effort to partner with the legal staff of a major Twin Cities' corporation to establish and staff a pioneering LegalCORPS long-distance advice clinic, which will provide legal advice via webcam to low-income small businesses in northern Minnesota. Marty has also devoted many hours in pro bono service for a number of years as a volunteer for LegalCORPS' advice clinics, the Immigration Law Center of Minnesota, and the Advocates for Human Rights. We applaud Marty for his extraordinary commitment to serving the community.
