Maslon Sponsors 6th Annual Minnesota Cup; Shawn McIntee to Serve as Review Board Member
Maslon Edelman Borman & Brand, LLP is pleased to announce our continued sponsorship of and participation with the Minnesota Cup and its 6th Annual competition. In addition to the firm's support, Shawn McIntee, member of Maslon's Business & Securities group, will serve on both the Review Board for BioSciences Division and the Grand Prize Review Board. Maslon has been a sponsor and Shawn has participated with the MN cup since its inception.
The Minnesota Cup is an annual, statewide competition that seeks out aspiring entrepreneurs and their breakthrough ideas and has attracted more than 4,000 entries since 2005. The 6th Annual Minnesota Cup competition launched on March 29 and ends on September 9, 2010, and will award more than $130,000 in seed capital and many hours of professional services to competition winners across six divisions. Through the competition, participants also gain exposure for their ideas, strengthen their business plans, and make strong connections in the business community.
The BioSciences Division seeks out, supports, and celebrates Minnesota's most innovative entrepreneurs developing plans and businesses in medical devices, biologics and biopharmaceuticals, animal health, food, healthcare delivery, healthcare services and more. The BioSciences Division is led by the BioBusiness Alliance of Minnesota who is dedicated to the advancement of bioscience-related industries and the creation of jobs in our state.
