Terri Krivosha Honored as a "2008 Woman of Vision" by the Minnesota Chapter of NAWBO

The Minnesota Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) has selected Terri Krivosha, member of Maslon's Business and Securities Practice Group and former chair of the firm, as a "2008 Woman of Vision." Each year, the Vision Award is presented to a woman business owner or a corporate partner who demonstrates exemplary vision in providing opportunities for women business owners. Terri received the honor on April 30, before an audience of 600 business owners and executives, as part of NAWBO's Annual Awards Gala.

Amy Langer, owner of SALO, LLC and Maslon client, was also honored at the ceremony as the "NAWBO Woman Business Owner of the Year."  Considered NAWBO's most prominent award, the honor is presented to a NAWBO member who operates and bears principal responsibility for operating a business.  The award recognizes a woman business owner for her history as an established company with continued and sustained growth in size and revenue, and her innovativeness and response to challenges.

The NAWBO Awards Gala honors women business owners who have demonstrated success in a variety of areas. Award winners are recognized for the contributions they have made to the Minnesota business community and culture, as well as to the larger national and global economies.

NAWBO is a national organization representing the interests of all women entrepreneurs in all industries. The association currently has over 8,000 members in nearly 80 chapters nationwide.
