John Provo Selected for Minnesota Chamber of Commerce Foundation's Leadership Minnesota Program
John Provo, member of Maslon's Business & Securities Group, has been selected as a participant in the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce Foundation's Leadership Minnesota program for 2009-2010. He was chosen as one of thirty business leaders to learn firsthand what makes Minnesota tick. Leadership Minnesota provides business leaders from across the state with a comprehensive look at national and global pressures facing Minnesota's economy, and opportunities to help shape the future of business in our region.
Provo has over 25 years of experience in counseling information-based and interactive technology companies with respect to the acquisition, sale and licensing of creative works, trademark selection, registration, licensing and enforcement strategies. He also has represented media and distribution companies in a broad range of transactions involving the distribution of intellectual property, software, and other creative properties outside the United States. A member of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel since 1994, John also advises business owners, executives and individuals with respect to estate planning, wealth preservation and succession planning strategies.
