Alain Baudry and Stephanie Bitterman Obtain Summary Judgment
and Subsequent Million-Dollar Settlement in Favor of Client
in Breach of Contract Suit

Alain Baudry and Stephanie Bitterman obtained summary judgment dismissing a creditor's $1.7 million counterclaim against their client, Rembrandt Enterprises, who was seeking to recover a $1 million receivable. The counterclaim alleged that the creditor had breached a supply agreement by demanding assurances of future performance. As a result of the summary judgment, Alain and Stephanie obtained settlement in favor of their client for every penny of the over $989,000 owed by the debtor, secured by confessions of judgment of all three defendants.

Rembrandt Enterprises is one of the largest egg producers in the world and is focused on supplying egg ingredients to food manufacturers and foodservice companies.
