Experience

  • As part of a small team of Maslon litigators, succeeded in achieving summary judgment in federal court for a financial institution in litigation involving default on a bank loan and contract interpretation; case settled after successful mediation. 
  •  As part of a small team of Maslon litigators, defended a lawsuit against a raw materials corporation sued for transloading and trucking services provided to a third party; case settled after successful mediation. 
  • With attorneys in Maslon's labor and employment law group, developed Facebook terms of use, social media administrator guidelines, and a social media policy for a national clothing chain.
  • With attorneys in Maslon's labor and employment and litigation groups, represented an employer in its lawsuit against a former employee charged with misappropriation of the company's confidential and proprietary information; succeeded in achieving partial summary judgment in state court.
