David Herr and Bill Pentelovitch Recognized as "Litigation Stars" in 2013 Edition of Benchmark Appellate

September 13, 2012

David Herr and Bill Pentelovitch, partners in Maslon's Litigation Group, have been recognized as "Litigation Stars" in the 2013 edition of Benchmark Appellate, a sister guide to Benchmark Litigation focused exclusively on America's leading appeals litigation firms and attorneys. Benchmark rankings are a culmination of a six-month research period including extensive litigator and client interviews, and examination of recent casework. The guide covers all 12 circuits (the First through the Eleventh and the Washington DC/Supreme Court Circuit) as well as the Federal Circuit. David and Bill were also listed in the inaugural 2012 edition.

David Herr is a highly regarded appellate lawyer and complex case litigator. He is frequently sought out to provide practical and sophisticated advice on how to resolve difficult, multi-party disputes in trial courts and arbitral forums, as well as in the appellate courts. David is past president of the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers, past president of the Academy of Court Appointed Masters and regularly argues cases in the Minnesota appellate courts and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Bill Pentelovitch is a business trial lawyer with more than 38 years of experience and hundreds of jury and bench trials, as well as dozens of appeals in state and federal courts to his credit. He has also tried dozens of arbitrations. He practices nationally in the areas of non-compete, trade secret and unfair competition litigation, intellectual property licensing and royalty disputes, and is a leading authority in Minnesota in the area of ownership and governance disputes in corporations and partnerships.
