Client PreciouStatus Wins 2013 ACG BOLD Entrepreneur Award

March 28, 2013

Maslon is pleased to announce the recognition of client PreciouStatus as an Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) 2013 BOLD Award winner. The ACG held its first annual Bold Awards Event on February 26, 2013, to celebrate cutting-edge organizations and their leaders who have made bold moves to positively grow, restructure, or enhance their companies for the benefit of all stakeholders.

PreciouStatus, a company that provides mobile software to professional care facilities that instantly updates family members regarding loved ones, was recognized in the BOLD Entrepreneur category for its company launch and recent doubling of sales. Julie Gilbert Newrai, CEO, created her firm's vision when she returned to work while caring for both her newborn son and husband who had suffered a major brain hemorrhage. Julie worried throughout the day, and yet her calls to the facilities where her son and husband were being cared for went unanswered. She knew an opportunity existed to create peace of mind for other families and make a difference. PreciouStatus now offers private updates to families with loved ones in child care, hospitals, eldercare, private schools and pet kennels across the U.S.

Recognized as part of the PreciouStatus Team: Julie Gilbert Newrai, CEO; Terri Krivosha, Maslon Attorney; Rick Serkin, Senior Vice President & Principal; Jim Hurst, Account Executive; Denyce Serkin, Operations Director; Sharz Miar, Marketing and Technical Specialist; Sandy Johnson, Creative Director; Kendra Krepel, Research and Development; Amy Moore, Phd, Healthcare Services; Christine Otte, Sales and Partnership Associate.

"I have had the privilege of working with PreciouStatus this past year to help them scale their business, and I was proud to nominate them for this recognition," shared Terri Krivosha. "Their product is inspiring, their leadership is bold, and their mission is extraordinary. Their continued growth and success will have a profound impact on the lives of so many with loved ones under care."
