February 10, 2017

Maslon is pleased to announce that Susan Link, partner and head of Maslon's Estate Planning Group, has been selected as a 2017 (Real) Power 50 Winner by Minnesota Business magazine. The magazine states, "The business professionals on the list are the linchpins in their company; the connectors in their industry; the heart of the operation; the remarkable players in the Minnesota business community with a knack for getting things done." The (Real) Power 50 nomination process consists of a three-month period where previous (Real) Power 50 members and the magazine's Editorial Advisory Board put forward names for consideration, which are vetted to select the final 50 winners.

Susan practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, and trust administration. She works closely with families to plan the disposition of their assets, both during lifetime and at death, and to accomplish the optimal estate and gift tax planning for clients through wills, trusts, and other instruments. She was selected for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America® 2017; is recognized on the 2016 Top 100 Minnesota Super Lawyers® list and the 2016 Top 50 Women Minnesota Super Lawyers® list; and was named a Twin Cities Five Star Wealth Manager in 2013.

Additionally, Susan serves as the program director of Minnesota Wills for Heroes. The Wills for Heroes program, sponsored by the Minnesota State Bar Association, is designed to provide free legal services for the preparation of basic estate planning documents for Minnesota first responders. She was recognized as a 2015 North Star Lawyer by the Minnesota State Bar Association for her significant commitment to pro bono service.
