Terri Krivosha and Terry Newby to Present at Minnesota CLE's 2015 Midwest IP Institute

Terri Krivosha, partner in Maslon's Business & Securities Group, and Terry Newby, partner in Maslon's Litigation Group, will co-present at the Minnesota CLE 2015 Midwest Intellectual Property Institute on September 18, 2015. Together they will present an afternoon session titled "M&A in Today’s Business Climate: What In-House IP Counsel Need to Know to Enhance Their Contributions to the M&A Team." The program will include a practical overview of mergers and acquisitions as well as a discussion of key intellectual property issues from the seller’s perspective, including steps to be taken before sale, timing, preparing for exit, and an exit prep checklist.

Terri Krivosha works with a vibrant network of entrepreneurial and dynamic businesses and those who fund them. She uses her broad strategic skills together with extensive experience to help her clients achieve success in all phases of their development and growth. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, financing, contract negotiation, strategic partnerships, distribution agreements, joint ventures, governance issues, exit strategies and sales recapitalizations. Terry Newby focuses his practice on intellectual property, e-commerce, and complex commercial litigation matters. He has extensive IP litigation experience, successfully representing clients in state and federal courts throughout the country in a broad range of infringement matters involving patent, trademark, copyright, and trade dress as well as licensing disputes. Terry has also represented clients in complex commercial litigation matters including insurance disputes, civil RICO claims, breach of contract claims, and class actions.
