Leora Maccabee Honored as Recipient of the Tychman Family "Young Leadership" Award by the Minneapolis Jewish Federation

Leora Maccabee, member of Maslon's Litigation Group, received the Tychman Family "Young Leadership" Award during the annual meeting of the Minneapolis Jewish Federation held on August 28, 2013. The award recognizes outstanding young leaders who exemplify leadership through their involvement in the Jewish community.
In addition to her law practice, Leora is President of Jewfolk Media, Inc, a non-profit organization committed to using technology to connect individuals to Jewish ideas, organizations, experiences and communities. Jewfolk Media's projects are designed to increase the number of quality Jewish moments experienced by people of all ages and backgrounds, whether those moments be religious, cultural, educational or social. Jewfolk Media is a 501(c)(3) based in Minneapolis. Leora is the Founder of TCJewfolk.com, the flagship project of Jewfolk Media, and a multi-author daily online magazine and virtual community space, primarily aimed at young Jewish adults in their 20s, 30s and 40s in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Leora Maccabee practices in the areas of general commercial and torts & products liability litigation. During law school, Leora clerked for United States District Court Judge John R. Tunheim; the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Minnesota; and the American Civil Liberties Union, Minnesota Chapter.
