Leora Maccabee Honored with Twin Cities Cardozo Society's Arthur T. Pfefer Award

Leora Maccabee, a member of Maslon's Litigation Group, received the 2013 Arthur T. Pfefer Memorial Award from the Twin Cities Cardozo Society. Leora was honored during the Twin Cities Cardozo Society's Fourteenth Annual Dinner on November 21, 2013. The award was created to honor the memory of Art Pfefer, a former Maslon Lawyer from St. Paul, who died tragically while on active duty in Vietnam. The award is given each year to a Jewish law student or young lawyer in the first five years of practice who demonstrates current and future potential, outstanding leadership and commitment to the Jewish and general community. The recipient also displays ambition and determination, academic or professional success and a strong commitment to public or community service.

Leora Maccabee is a member of Maslon's Litigation Group and practices in the areas of general commercial and tort & product liability litigation. During law school, Leora clerked for United States District Court Judge John R. Tunheim; the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Minnesota; and the American Civil Liberties Union, Minnesota Chapter.
