Maslon Elects Attorneys Leah Fleck, Charles Frohman, Brad Pederson, and Anna Petosky to the Firm's Partnership

Maslon is pleased to announce that attorneys Leah Fleck, Charles Frohman, Brad Pederson, and Anna Petosky have been elected to the firm's Partnership, effective January 1, 2016. The election acknowledges their tremendous skill, professionalism, and commitment to client service.

Leah Fleck is a member of Maslon's Business & Securities Group. She focuses her practice primarily in the areas of securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and business counseling. She has considerable experience in public offerings, private placements, public company compliance, and corporate governance. She also assists clients with general commercial matters. Leah is a graduate of New York University School of Law, where she served on the Journal of Legislation and Public Policy. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, cum laude, at Harvard University.

Charles Frohman is a member of Maslon's Litigation Group with extensive individual, class, and collective action experience. He has litigated wage-and-hour, whistleblower, and retaliation claims in state and federal courts as well as in arbitration. Charles also represents clients in a wide variety of business and contract litigation. Charles graduated cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. Prior to law school, Charles worked for several years in magazine publishing and internet media in the San Francisco Bay Area. Charles was included on the Minnesota Rising Stars lists in 2014 and 2015 as part of the Super Lawyers® selection process.

Brad Pederson is a member of Maslon's Business & Securities Group, representing manufacturers, brewers, and other businesses in venture formations, raising capital, corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, and general corporate matters. He works with entrepreneurs and dynamic start-ups to develop scalable business models and corporate structures for growth and raising capital. Brad also works with established businesses to continue growing organically and through strategic acquisitions, and to realize exit events. He serves on Maslon's Pro Bono Committee and is an active volunteer attorney in pro bono matters. Brad graduated magna cum laude from Hamline University School of Law, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from the University of Minnesota. Brad was included on the Minnesota Rising Stars lists in 2014 and 2015 as part of the Super Lawyers® selection process.

Anna Petosky is a member of Maslon's Litigation Group and has experience managing and litigating individual and complex cases with a focus primarily on mass tort products liability. She has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in individual and consolidated litigations relating to pharmaceutical products and medical devices, and she has successfully litigated a number of commercial claims ranging from breach-of-contract to complex financial disputes. Anna has practiced in state and federal courts and has represented clients in proceedings before federal agencies. She currently serves on the board of Minnesota Justice Foundation, a pro bono organization which provides volunteer law students with opportunities to assist attorneys in meeting the legal needs of the low-income community, and was recognized as an Up & Coming Attorney by Minnesota Lawyer in 2014.
