For more than 25 years, Thadd Paul has been counseling national and international clients on a variety of complex IT, technology, and intellectual property transactions. He works primarily on technology contracts, including drafting and negotiating agreements for IT infrastructure, software, and services, and the licensing, development, and distribution of technology. As former Assistant General Counsel for the IT Vendor Management function of one of the nation’s largest health care providers, Thadd brings a wealth of experience to bear in the areas of IT vendor selection, IT systems migrations, consolidations of IT solutions, IT infrastructure, and software implementations, and on-going vendor relations and pre-litigation dispute resolution.

Prior to joining Maslon, Thadd worked in the legal departments of multiple Fortune 500 companies, giving him a unique vantage point when it comes to understanding client needs. He has managed large, cross-functional teams through highly-complex and long-term projects, and recognizes the concerns and challenges that in-house counsel and complex organizations face, working with them to find practical, effective, and creative solutions.
