Tom Pack Appointed to Serve as Co-Vice Chair of the Diversity Subcommittee of the Defense Research Institute's Young Lawyers Steering Committee

Maslon is pleased to announce that Tom Pack, attorney in Maslon's Litigation Group, was recently appointed to serve as the co-vice chair of the Diversity Subcommittee of the Defense Research Institute's (DRI) Young Lawyers Committee. His appointment takes effect at DRI's Annual Meeting, which occurs October 17-21, 2018, in San Francisco. The Diversity Subcommittee assists with DRI's overall goal of maximizing ethnic, gender, geographical, and practice area diversity in the committee's membership and leadership.
Tom represents businesses in product liability matters and in other complex business litigation. He helps clients navigate all stages of the litigation process throughout many forums, including federal and state courts, mediation, and arbitration. Tom has extensive experience with discovery, including eDiscovery, and has prepared successful dispositive motions in several matters. He also maintains an active pro bono practice in the civil rights and immigration law fields, with an emphasis on representing LGBTQ+ asylum seekers. Tom is passionate about issues related to diversity and inclusion in the legal industry, and he is a member of Maslon's Diversity & Inclusion Committee and co-chairs Maslon's Diverse Attorneys' Resource Group.
