Employment Update: New Minimum Wage Takes Effect

July 24, 2009

Effective July 24, the federal minimum wage will increase from $6.55 to $7.25 per hour. Minnesota is one of the many states impacted by this wage increase as the state minimum wage for large employers was $6.15 per hour.
