Eran Kahana to Present at 2015 Cyber Risk Round Table for Kraus-Anderson Insurance

Eran Kahana, special counsel in Maslon's Business & Securities Group, will present at the 2015 Cyber Risk Round Table hosted by Kraus-Anderson Insurance on March 19, 2015. During his presentation titled, "Legal Considerations Driving Best Practices in Cyber Security," Eran will speak to the legal precedent involving cyber liability, the cyber-related regulatory environment, and its effect on business owners/employers. He will also discuss cyber-related contractual obligations in business-to-business situations as well as highlight cases to watch and their potential impact on future regulation and contract requirements.
Eran Kahana Eran Kahana is a technology and intellectual property attorney with extensive experience advising clients in domestic and international settings. His practice focuses on cyber security, patent, trademark, and copyright law. Eran also advises clients on a variety of e-commerce, licensing, joint development, and consulting in diverse industries. Eran serves as general counsel and on the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Chapter of InfraGard, a nonprofit partnership between the FBI and the private sector dedicated to the protection of critical infrastructure. In addition, he is a Research Fellow at Stanford Law School, where he writes and lectures on the legal aspects of using artificial intelligence.
