Overview

Jack Austin is an attorney with more than a decade of experience advising clients on estate planning and probate and trust administration. He enjoys helping clients gain peace of mind by planning for their future needs and guiding family wealth to the next generation.

Jack is regarded as a leader by his colleagues. He co-leads a study group of estate planning attorneys and enjoys mentoring law students and new attorneys. He is often asked to present to his peers on probate and estate planning topics.

Jack earned his J.D. at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, where he represented clients as a certified student attorney in the nationally renowned Elder Law Clinic. His work for these elders imbued him with a deep appreciation for their wisdom and perspective, and informed the rest of his career. Prior to law school, he studied history at the University of Minnesota.

Outside of work, Jack volunteers with Wills for Heroes, which provides no-cost wills and health care directives to first responders in Minnesota. He also worked for over 20 years at Skijammers Ski and Snowboard School in Wayzata. Jack lives with his wife in the eastern Twin Cities, and they are preparing to welcome their first child. Having helped many of his clients plan through life transitions, he is excited to experience that for himself.
