Jessica Pecoraro Recognized as an MSBA Board Certified Labor and Employment Law Specialist

March 8, 2012

The Minnesota State Bar Association announced the certification of Jessica Pecoraro, head of Maslon's Labor & Employment Practice Group, as an MSBA Board Certified Labor and Employment Law Specialist. This achievement has been earned by fewer than 3% of all licensed Minnesota attorneys.

The certification program is administered by the MSBA and approved by the State Board of Legal Certification. The certified specialist designation is earned by leading attorneys who have completed a rigorous approval process, including an examination in the specialty area, peer review, and documented experience. Certified attorneys have demonstrated superior knowledge, skill and integrity in their specific field.

Jessica Pecoraro works with employers to obtain solutions in various types of employment disputes. She counsels employers in numerous aspects of employment law including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour law compliance, military leave laws, personnel policy development and review, employment agreements, drug testing, and discipline and discharge issues. Jessica also advises employers with regard to labor issues concerning union organizing campaigns, unfair labor practice charge responses, and labor strikes.
