Overview

Kelley Scrocca is a highly experienced trust and estate attorney who specializes in assisting ultra high net worth clients with estate planning, asset protection planning, and complex trust administration. She has represented a wide range of individuals, from professional athletes to ranch owners to members of the U.S. Congress.

Kelley works closely with both clients and their families to understand their goals, facilitate wealth transfer, and establish an enduring legacy for future generations. She offers a full slate of estate planning services, including:

  • simple wills
  • powers of attorney
  • living wills
  • complex trusts
  • special needs planning
  • LGBTQ specific planning
  • estate and tax planning using charitable vehicles
  • agricultural estate and succession planning
  • answers to gift tax questions
  • formation of LLCs, businesses, and transfer of assets
  • formation of nonprofits and private foundations
  • assistance in establishing scholarships and endowments.

Kelley has also worked with and represented financial institutions and professional fiduciaries with drafting trusts, reviewing contracts and other legal documents, and advising on state and federal laws.

Outside of work, Kelley regularly volunteers with Wills for Heroes, which provides no-cost wills and health care directives to first responders in Minnesota.

Kelley earned her J.D. at the University of Minnesota Law School and subsequently an LLM in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law.
