Overview

Laura Trahms-Hagen is an associate in Maslon's Corporate & Securities Group focusing on corporate governance, contracts, employment, and general commercial law. She enjoys getting to know her clients and learning how she can help them accomplish their business goals.

Laura earned her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, where she participated in the Child Advocacy and Juvenile Justice Clinic, Minnesota Justice Foundation’s Street Law Program, and Twin Cities Diversity in Practice. During law school, Laura also emphasized mentorship and acted as an orientation leader and formal mentor through the Women’s Law Student Association and the Well-Being Initiative. While studying for her bachelor's degree from City College of New York, Laura became intrigued by the ways in which forensic psychology intersects with the law. A social work internship with Lawyers for Children further inspired her to pursue a career as an attorney.
