Maslon Law Firm receives the first ever SAGE Best Practices Award
September 23, 2005
The Women in the Legal Profession Committee with the Minnesota State Bar Association reviewed and judged the Best Practices for promoting gender equity in legal employment for all nominees. The nominees were reviewed based on the following factors: equal access, workday issues, governance, evaluation and promotion, retention and compensation.
Maslon accepted this award at the Annual MSBA Bar Leader Conference Friday, September 23rd at 2 p.m. where Terri Krivosha, Chair of its Governance Committee, accepted the award on behalf of the firm.
“I’d like to thank the Women in the Legal Profession Committee, the SAGE Best Practices Committee and the SAGE Best Practices Recognition Award Nominating Committee for conceiving of the Self Audit for Gender Equity, formulating the committee to develop the Best Practices and challenging firms to implement them. These Best Practices are part of the fabric of the Maslon Law Firm and inform everything we do. As a result, all of our lawyers, both men and women, benefit on a daily basis.” - Terri Krivosha
