Maslon Selected as a "2013 Go-To Law Firm® for the Top 500 Companies"

December 11, 2012

For the fifth year in a row, Maslon has been selected as a "Go-To Law Firm® for the Top 500 Companies." This year, Maslon was recognized specifically in the area of Torts Litigation. The honor, as stated by the publisher, "puts [Maslon] in an elite group that delivers exceptional work for the in-house legal departments at Fortune 500® companies."

"Go-To Law Firms" are identified by data collected from surveys sent to general counsel at Fortune 500 companies to determine which law firms they rely upon, as well as various public record resources such as court dockets and securities filings, and leading legal and business publications, including The American Lawyer®.

The publishers of ALM's Corporate Counsel® magazine, the nation's leading magazine for general counsel and in-house attorneys at corporations across the country, will publish the research in its 10th annual reference guide, In-House Law Departments at the Top 500 Companies. The guide will include detailed profiles and contact information for general counsel at the Fortune 500 companies, as well as listings of the "Go-To Law Firms" they use in various practice areas, including litigation, securities, corporate transactions/mergers & acquisitions, labor & employment, intellectual property, and international. The guide is slated to publish in early January 2013, and will be distributed to more than 20,000 general and in-house counsel.
