Susan Link, Michael Sampson, and Cindy Costello to Present at the 2015 Probate & Trust Law Conference for Minnesota CLE

Maslon Estate Planning attorneys Susan Link and Michael Sampson, and Paralegal Cindy Costello will present at Minnesota CLE's 2015 Probate & Trust Law Conference on June 8, 2015.
During the afternoon, Susan Link will moderate a breakout session titled, "Gray Areas in Probate Proceedings," in which a panel of experienced probate practitioners, including Michael Sampson and Cindy Costello, will discuss some of the issues that arise for attorneys and paralegals during the administration of a decedent's estate.
Michael Sampson will co-present at three additional sessions throughout the seminar on topics including a legislative update; major revisions to the 7th edition of the Drafting Wills and Trust Agreements Deskbook; and "Directed Trusts" and how they can be effectively employed in estate and business succession planning.
Susan Link is head of Maslon's Estate Planning Group and works with families to plan the disposition of their assets, both during lifetime and at death, and to accomplish the optimal estate and gift tax planning for clients through wills, trusts, and other instruments. Susan also works with families after the death of a family member to ensure that the client's wishes are achieved and that the plan they created is carried out.
Michael Sampson's legal practice focuses on high-end estate and tax planning, estate and trust administration, charitable planning, and business succession planning. Michael is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education seminars and enjoys teaching as an adjunct professor at Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul (Wills & Trusts, Estate Planning & Tax, and Drafting Wills & Trust Agreements). He is also very active in the Minnesota State Bar Association, currently serving as a member of the Probate and Trust Law Section Council and as co-chair of the Section's Legislation Committee. Additionally, Michael has served for the last three years on a special sub-committee that is reviewing Minnesota's trust law.
Cindy Costello is a senior paralegal in the areas of estate and trust administration. She assists attorneys with all aspects of estate and trust administration, including preparation of court documents, accountings, estate tax returns, fiduciary income tax returns, and distribution of assets.
