David Suchar to Present at the Network of Trial Law Firms' Litigation Management in a New York Minute Seminar

August 2, 2019

David Suchar, partner and Chair of Maslon's Construction and Real Estate Litigation Group, will present at the Network of Trial Law Firms' Litigation Management in a New York Minute – 2019 Edition seminar on August 2, 2019. During his presentation, titled "Navigating Insurance Coverage Disputes: Strategies Promoting a Successful Voyage," David will discuss how effective insurance-coverage litigation demands a specialized strategic approach when it comes to pre-claim preparation, mediation, trial preparation, and settlement, while maintaining a deft understanding of all the involved players. His presentation will draw on factual examples and recent cases in which strategic decision-making had bottom-line ramifications on the insured's recovery. David will also serve as Seminar Chair at the event.

David, a skilled trial attorney, regularly represents clients in construction and insurance coverage disputes, government and internal investigations, and a variety of commercial litigation. He has developed a niche national practice representing commercial policyholders in insurance coverage disputes, including on many of the largest construction projects and claims across the United States. In the 2019 Who's Who Legal [PP1] worldwide ranking of construction law "Future Leaders," David was the sole ranked practitioner from the United States, described as "an impressive trial lawyer whose practice spans the spectrum of construction matters from insurance to payment claims." The 2019 edition of Chambers USA ranks David as one of the top Minnesota construction lawyers and notes that sources describe him as "an excellent attorney with a superb grasp of construction law."
