Gary Haugen, Margo Brownell and Joseph Ceronsky Co-Author Chapter in Minnesota Insurance Law Deskbook

Gary Haugen, Margo Brownell and Joseph Ceronsky, members of Maslon's Litigation Group, have co-authored a chapter titled "Directors' and Officers' Liability Insurance" for the new 4th edition of the Minnesota Insurance Law Deskbook. The Deskbook, published by Minnesota CLE, is considered a comprehensive and authoritative guide to the legal and practical issues Minnesota insurance law attorneys face every day, and offers valuable analyses backed with hundreds of important citations.

Gary Haugen is a partner in Maslon's Litigation Group and focuses on the litigation of insurance-related disputes, product liability, mass tort and professional liability claims. He has represented policyholders and insurers in disputes involving property, liability, life, health and disability insurance. Gary has represented product manufacturers, drug and medical device companies, utilities and other companies in product liability and mass tort litigation.

Margo Brownell is a partner in Maslon's Litigation Group, specializing in insurance coverage counseling and litigation. She represents commercial policyholders with complex insurance claims under all types of property and liability policies, including commercial general liability, directors and officers liability, professional liability, cyber-liability, and intellectual property liability coverage. In addition, she handles complex property claims, including those arising from major catastrophic events such as the terrorist attacks of 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina. Margo's coverage counseling experience includes preparing, reviewing and settling claims, policy analysis, risk review, negotiating and drafting policy language, and reviewing and drafting commercial contracts.

Joe Ceronsky is a member of Maslon's Litigation Group and practices in the area of general commercial litigation. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School. During law school, Joe worked as a Certified Student Attorney for the Ramsey County Public Defender's Office where he received extensive courtroom experience through his representation of more than 100 clients and consistently appearing on the record in district court.
