Geoffrey Jarpe Appointed to Serve as Co-Chair of Litigation Practice Group

Maslon is pleased to announce that Geoffrey Jarpe has been appointed to serve as co-chair of the Litigation Practice Group. In this capacity, Geoff joins Co-Chair Emily Rome to help shape the strategy and direction of the practice group, with attention to client service, attorney training and development, and competitive effectiveness.

Geoff Jarpe has represented plaintiffs and defendants in lawsuits and arbitrations for over 40 years, in Minnesota and many other jurisdictions. He has handled hundreds of cases throughout his career, most in a first-chair capacity. Over that span, Geoff has tried securities fraud cases, FINRA arbitrations, corporate ownership and valuation disputes, director and officer liability and fiduciary duty cases, tort cases, contract cases, and a variety of real estate cases, including condemnation, ownership, zoning and land use disputes. Geoff has been ranked a leading individual attorney in Minnesota for general commercial litigation in Chambers USA 2013, and was selected for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America® 2014 and the 2013 Minnesota Super Lawyers List.
