Overview

Jeremy Walls is an attorney in the Corporate & Securities Group who advises privately held companies, private equity funds and sponsors, and strategic investors through both buy- and sell-side mergers and acquisitions. He also provides a wide variety of general corporate and outside counsel services for entrepreneurs and privately held businesses, including drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, corporate reorganizations, buy-sell agreements, and business succession agreements; advising on governance issues; and ensuring regulatory compliance. Jeremy enjoys getting to know his clients and their businesses, and works closely with them to develop practical solutions while limiting risks.

Prior to joining Maslon, Jeremy gained valuable experience at another Top 10 Minneapolis firm. He earned his law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School, where he served as president of the Business Law Association and was a lead editor of the Journal of Law and Inequality.

When he is not working, Jeremy enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing and coaching hockey, woodworking, and reading history books.

North Star Lawyer, Minnesota State Bar Association, 2023-2024 (North Star Lawyer is a designation that recognizes members who provide 50 hours or more of pro bono legal services in a calendar year.)
