Katherine Schiltz

Overview
Kate Schiltz is an associate in the Financial Services Group who represents clients in bankruptcy, reorganization, loan workouts, debt restructurings, and corporate trust proceedings. She strives to thoroughly understand clients’ objectives and to serve as a responsive and strategic advocate.
Kate earned her J.D. at the University of Minnesota Law School. During that time, she worked as a legal research and writing instructor for first-year students, assisted a law school professor with book research, and served as a summer law clerk for the Minnesota Disability Law Center, a program of Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid. She also volunteered with the Transition Plus program Street Law, educating young adults with disabilities about laws and the legal system. Kate graduated egregia cum laude (with a 4.0 grade point average) from the College of Saint Benedict.
Kate enjoys spending time with family, especially her three nephews and two nieces. She is an avid film watcher, and she especially loves anything scary.
