Carly Johnson Sworn in After Re-Election to Oak Park Heights City Council

Maslon is pleased to announce that attorney Carly Johnson has been sworn in to serve a second term on the Oak Park Heights City Council after her re-election to the seat in November. She was first elected in 2018 while a student at Mitchell Hamline School of Law.

In addition to her city council role, Carly was appointed by Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan in 2022 to the state Board of Water and Soil Resources as the metropolitan area elected city official member, and she served on the National League of Cities' Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Federal Advocacy Committee. She also holds a leadership role on the Minnesota League of Cities Improving Service Delivery Policy Committee.

Carly’s practice is informed by her active civic engagement and service. She assists clients across a broad range of general commercial litigation matters, including construction, trust and estate, real estate, contract, and employment disputes. Carly earned her undergraduate degree in biology from St. Thomas University, and earned her law degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
