Gabriel Ramirez-Hernandez Appointed to American Bar Association Commission on Hispanic Legal Rights and Responsibilities

Maslon is pleased to announce that litigation attorney Gabriel Ramirez-Hernandez has received an ABA presidential appointment to the American Bar Association Commission on Hispanic Legal Rights and Responsibilities for the 2022-2023 term, and to the editorial board of the ABA's TYL magazine.
The Hispanic Commission focuses on developing and supporting initiatives and research to educate lawyers on how best to serve, promote civic responsibility within, and address the key legal challenges facing the Latino community in the United States.
In addition, Gabriel began serving in July as an editor of TYL, the bar association's magazine designed to help young lawyers take command of their careers and develop their professional identities.

Gabriel focuses on assisting clients in intellectual property disputes, insurance, construction, and general business litigation. He brings to his work a collaborative spirit and a sincere dedication to client service. Gabriel has been actively involved with the Minnesota Hispanic Bar Association (MHBA) since law school, and currently serves on the executive board of the MHBA board of directors and the Judicial Endorsements Committee, among other community-focused roles. He also maintains an active pro bono practice representing families and individuals in housing court and immigration matters, primarily in asylum and naturalization proceedings, as well as assisting local Latinx artists on copyright and trademark questions.
Prior to his position at Maslon, Gabriel clerked at the Minnesota Court of Appeals for the Honorable Peter M. Reyes Jr. and served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Laurie J. Miller of Hennepin County District Court and the Honorable Michael J. Davis of the U.S. District of Minnesota, and he served as a legal resident to the Honorable Anne K. McKeig of the Minnesota Supreme Court.
