June 13, 2022
Maslon is pleased to announce that Litigation Group attorney Gabriel Ramirez-Hernandez has been named a Notable Emerging Star in Law by Twin Cities Business magazine. Gabriel has demonstrated extraordinary drive, skill, and commitment to both the legal profession and the community since his introduction to the firm as a 2018 summer associate.
He currently serves as the youngest non-student board member for the Minnesota Hispanic Bar Association (MHBA) and was recently elected treasurer. Since 2020, he has served as a volunteer mentor each year with UPLIFT Legal Institute for Teens, a 10-week pipeline program for diverse middle school students, where he helps teach them about the legal profession and ultimately prepares them to compete with their peers in mock trials. Gabe also mentors a Latino high school student through Clues YA! (Youth in Action), which supports and guides Latinx students as they look to college. And he devotes significant pro bono time to representing clients in housing and immigration matters, primarily in asylum and naturalization proceedings.
