Maslon Attorneys Fill Teaching Ranks at University of Minnesota Law School

Six Maslon attorneys are among the adjunct faculty teaching at the University of Minnesota Law School this academic year, continuing a long tradition of Maslon lawyers sharing their knowledge and experience with the next generation of legal advocates.
Anna Barton, litigation attorney, serves as an adjunct for a breakout discussion once a week in a spring course called Civil Litigation: Case Development and Discovery. Professor Craig Roen teaches the plenary session.
Samantha Bates, litigation attorney, teaches the full-year course Civil Rights/Civil Liberties Moot Court. This is her second year.
Andy Jacobson, real estate attorney, has taught Real Estate Transactions in the fall semester since 2023. He previously taught the course at the University of St. Thomas School of Law for 20 years.
Jim Long, litigation attorney, has taught Antitrust Law each spring for the past four years. He taught courses previously at Mitchell Hamline and Hamline law schools.
Annika Misurya, litigation attorney, is teaching two spring courses: Modern Discovery Strategies and Technologies, an upper-level seminar, and Law in Practice, a 1L experiential learning course.
Michael Sampson, chair of the Estate Planning Group, teaches Wills, Trusts & Estates, typically in the fall, as he has done for four years. He previously taught courses for 14 years at Mitchell Hamline and Hamline law schools.
