Maslon is pleased and proud to announce that Board Chair Keiko Sugisaka has been named a 2022 "Attorney of the Year" by Minnesota Lawyer for Outstanding Service to the Profession.

Keiko is recognized for impactful work in the legal profession throughout her 25 years of practice, during which she has served on the Minnesota Commission on Judicial Selection under two governors, served as vice chair of the Fourth Judicial District Ethics Committee, served in various leadership positions in the Minnesota Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, and worked as Maslon's member representative in both Twin Cities Diversity in Practice and the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity. She has broad experience successfully representing clients in federal and state courts nationwide involving product liability defense; patent, trademark, and copyright infringement; director/officer liability; trade secret misappropriation; unfair competition; and commercial disputes. Keiko also has extensive experience in all stages of complex and large-scale discovery and e-discovery issues.
