Overview

Matthew Robinson is a partner in Maslon's Financial Services Group who helps financial institutions maximize their recoveries when commercial borrowers or guarantors default on their loans or become insolvent. Matthew advises on the full spectrum of creditor remedies issues, including loan workouts, receiverships, foreclosures, and litigation.

A skilled negotiator and litigator, Matthew brings over a decade of experience assisting banks, asset-based lenders, and other financial services providers in enforcing their commercial lending agreements. His practice also includes representing companies ranging in size from small, family-owned businesses to large, Fortune 500 companies in commercial litigation, with an emphasis on financial services and complex commercial litigation. Matthew approaches his work with energy and enthusiasm, and he takes pride in being a tireless advocate for his clients.

Matthew earned his law degree from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law after graduating from Boston College with a B.A. in political science.

Outside of work, Matthew enjoys spending time with his family in his hometown of St. Louis Park, being outdoors and active with the family dogs, and cheering on Minnesota sports teams.
