The Advocates for Human Rights Annual Human Rights Awards Dinner (Sponsored by Maslon)

June 25, 2014

Maslon is pleased to sponsor the 2014 Human Rights Awards Dinner for The Advocates for Human Rights on June 25, 2014. The awards dinner honors individuals who have made a significant contribution to the human rights movement and to The Advocates' work.

This year's keynote speaker and 2014 Don and Arvonne Fraser Human Rights Award Recipient is Marilyn Carlson Nelson, former Carlson board chair and CEO. Carlson Nelson took a stand against sexual exploitation of children in the tourism industry, worked tirelessly to defeat the marriage amendment in our state, and co-founded the World Childhood Foundation to protect street children.

The Advocates for Human Rights' mission is to implement international human rights standards in order to promote civil society and reinforce the rule of law. For more information on the event, go to: The Advocates for Human Rights, Human Rights Awards Dinner.
