The Minnesota Hispanic Bar Association's 12th Annual Gala (Sponsored by Maslon)

Maslon is proud to sponsor the Minnesota Hispanic Bar Association's (MHBA) 12th Annual Gala on Thursday, March 2, 2017. This year's keynote speaker is Sonia Nazario, a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist and author. The event will also feature the presentation of the Manuel Guerrero Courage in Leadership Award to The Honorable Ann D. Montgomery, Senior Judge for the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.

The MHBA was founded in 1991 to organize Hispanic attorneys, judges, law students, and other concerned members of the Hispanic community into a force for professional and community benefit. Its mission is to unify and organize all members of the Hispanic legal community, to promote legal professionals, and to serve as an advocate for the Hispanic community in Minnesota. Melissa Muro LaMere, attorney in Maslon's Litigation Group, has served on the MHBA Board of Directors since 2013 and currently serves as Treasurer.
