Overview

Leah DeGrazia is a commercial real estate attorney who represents lenders, borrowers, developers, and property owners in transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions, refinances, and construction/development. She has considerable experience in all aspects of real estate and real estate finance transactions, including:

  • Drafting and negotiating loan documents
  • Drafting and negotiating purchase and sale documents
  • Reviewing legal due diligence
  • Examining real property title, survey, and title insurance matters

Additionally, Leah represents commercial landlords and tenants throughout the leasing process, including negotiating, drafting, and amending leases.

Before going into private practice, Leah gained knowledge of real estate issues through her work as a housing attorney for a nonprofit, advising tenants on eviction defense, lease negotiation, repairs, security deposits, and related issues.

Leah earned her J.D. at the University of Minnesota Law School. During that time, she worked as a certified student attorney with the Community Legal Partnership for Health Clinic and as a law clerk with Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid. She graduated with distinction from the University of Iowa.

Outside of work, Leah enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time with her husband and twin sons.
